Am I the only one with this theory?

It seems to me that HIGHER taxes should stimulate business expansion. Because salaries and construction and maintenance should be deductible. So businesses will be inspired to plow their profits back into the business if they would otherwise lose money to the government. No?
And lower taxes on PERSONAL income can't possibly stimulate the economy. What's the 1%'er going to do with their windfall? Hire another gardener for their third mansion? No, they're going to stick it back in the stock market where it does no good for anyone except other 1%'ers. OK, I know it's supposed to help businesses with the above-mentioned expansion. But really, does it?
