Unhappy new year

nosrednaydujI was going to go to a New Year's Eve party today, but, instead I have a cold.
How did I get a cold? Well, I went to a party at which I was unsafe on December 16, but that seems like a long time ago. And then I've been to a couple of other parties, December 19 and 23, where I wore a mask but I lowered it occasionally to do things like pop a grape into my mouth. Maybe actually it was lowered more than I think it was. It is true that at the December 23 party there was a person who was blowing her nose.
Anyway, I think I shouldn't bring any respiratory infection to a party, even if it's not Covid (I tested).
