Before I got all distressed on Wednesday, Tuesday I had the opportunity to ride to work. Lovely lovely day. Bit of a tail wind. I went the "inside 128" route through Dedham and Newton, because I think that's shortest and flattest, but there was a construction detour that probably cost me 1/2 mile,

26.2 miles in 2:21:32 for an average of 11.0. Off to a good start!

I'm feeling better about the whole airline thing. It's been pointed out that traveling in a group helps not be selected.
