Kid update

Jocelyn has been attending Reed College in person, but it turned out that most of her classes were actually online, and the one that was in person could be converted to online. And, she's been doing an online circus program with the place in San Diego where she spent her last two summers. So, in a week, she's going to store some of her belongings, hop on a plane to San Diego, and do circus in person and college online until mid-December, when she will come back home, and then I believe the plan is to return to college in mid-January when spring semester starts. We will see what actually happens, mid-January. I expect she'll do okay, although I'm thinking that her college work will suffer from the lack of proximity. But, there will be a circus video that will be produced in December, and she will get to participate in the making of that video, which I believe is what's really driving this change of venue. The one they made this summer was pretty impressive, and the people who had been doing circus remotely in the summer didn't have as big a role in the video as the people who were in San Diego.
