Times like these, I wish I liked tea
Mar. 31st, 2018 11:51 amSo I'm improving. Fever seemed to mostly break last night. My normal temp is about 97.5, and I got a measurement that low at 4am, though by 9am it was back up to 98.1 so maybe it's not completely gone. I am feeling a lot better, though still a bit achey and tired. Sometimes tiredness can be exacerbated by oversleeping, so I'm going to try a shower this afternoon and a short walk outdoors. If I were feeling better, it would be a 20 mile bike ride and I'm slightly sad.
I expect I am a little dehydrated. I've been trying to make sure I drink enough, but my mouth has been tasting somewhat bad and so most things I like taste random, and plain water doesn't feel so great on my throat. If I liked tea, I think that would be the ticket. I'm drinking warmed up diluted cranberry juice, and that is actually pretty good, and also we had a leftover half box of chicken broth in the fridge, so I'm having some of that (also diluted). Chicken tea anyone?
We found a washer with a reversible door! Hopefully it will actually work out. We bought it, it will be delivered on Wednesday.

Date: 2018-04-01 01:22 am (UTC)We have that exact washer! For the same reason, too: with the washer and dryer side-by-side, we don't want to have to lift wet laundry over a door to get it from the one to the other. I have minor quibbles with it (like, the colorful lights that light its interior are stupid), but it seems to do the job just fine. The matching dryer, I'm less happy with (though there's still the possibility that it takes forever because the vent has been frozen shut for most of the time we've owned it).
